Apres Ski - find your ski chic

With Ski season on the horizon, we wanted to share with you our top picks for family perfect snowy adventures, and a selection of our most stylish cosy layers and accessories to ensure your apres ski is as chic as your slope skills!

Alpine Action

A top choice for family-based snow adventure, Avoriaz offers the safety of a car-free zone, with the fun factor of horse and sleigh taxis as well as dog sledding adventures. Perched on a high altitude cliff top plateau, Avoriaz is the gateway to the Portes du Soleil circuit, boasting a whopping 650 km piste.

For a worthy addition to your bucket list, you can ski over to Switzerland, or if highly fickle in your weather preferences, enjoy a swift climate change by diving into the tropical themed indoor aqua centre. For a quirky, deluxe chalet featuring breathtaking views and your own private sauna, explore the Chalet des Ardoisieres.

Finnish Frolics

From glass igloo accommodation to snow safaris and cross-country skiing, Lapland has so much more than Santa with each resort offering a different vibe, so whether you’re after an action-packed getaway or a relaxing retreat, you’ll find somewhere that suits.

Ditch the tube and embrace the sheer exhilaration of traveling by huskies in one of the worlds most enchanting holiday destinations. We love the adults only night safaris where you and a group of friends get to search for the Northern Lights on snowmobiles - Bond you may step aside!

Austrian Extravagance

For Alpine splendor, St Anton is peppered with luxury boutique hotels and state of the art facilities, all in an atmospheric Tyrolean mountain village setting. With challenging slopes, it’s a resort geared towards the more advanced skier, rather than those of us with the skiing equivalent of two left feet (though there’s always indoor rock climbing, riding, or... yodelling?).

Despite this, it’s perfectly family friendly, boasting a reputable children’s ski school and youth Centre to welcome the patter of tiny skis. For the utmost in luxury après-ski, try the picturesque Das Mooser Hotel.

“I’m Talking About a Little Place Called Aspen...”

“A place where the beer flows like wine. Where beautiful women instinctively flock like the salmon of Capistrano.” – Dumb and Dumber

You don’t have to be Jim Carrey to appreciate the US’s premier skiing capital. Aspen boasts four ski areas in one, as well as Snowmass, which is an entire resort in itself as well as being a Snowboarders’s paradise.

If you’re a casual celeb spotter, it’s a renowned hot spot for the rich and famous, and with almost three meters on the upper slopes of Aspen – it boasts enough snow to give Narnia a run for it's money. Venture into Little Nell, Aspen Mountain’s only ski in/ski out hotel, featuring roaring fireplaces and sumptuous soaking tubs.
