Bloody Mary

The perfect tipple for a comforting Sunday brunch, we served this classic Bloody Mary recipe up as a morning-after pain reliever at Port Eliot Festival...

Bloody Mary

Serves 2

I N G R E D I E N T S

50ml Sipsmith London Dry Gin or Sipsmith Sipping Vodka
100ml Tomato juice
5-6 dashes of Worcestershire sauce
2-3 dashes of Tabasco sauce
A pinch of Coleman's dry English mustard
Juice of one or two lemon wedges
Salt and pepper to taste

M E T H O D

First, get your hands on two large glasses.

Combine all ingredients, excepting the tomato juice, in one of the glasses and stir to combine.

Add the tomato juice, as gently as if you were folding in whisked egg whites.

Mix by pouring it gently between two glasses a few times.

Strain into a Collins or highball glass.

Remember, you can't bruise a Martini but you can definitely bruise a Bloody...
