Pineapple mint zinger

Don't let traumatic kale juice experiences of the past put you off this one.

It's perfect for green smoothie novices as the pineapple and grapes add sweetness and the mint and lime give it that all-important zip. 

Take this a stage further with the addition of some good fats and extra protein by throwing in a wedge of avocado or a spoonful of soaked sunflower seeds before blending - perfect for the start to a healthy week ahead!


Pineapple mint zinger

Makes 1 large glass

I N G R E D I E N T S

¼ medium-sized, ripe pineapple, peeled, cored and cubed
1 handful green grapes, washed
1 small handful kale leaves, washed
2 mint sprigs, leaves only
½ lime, juice only

M E T H O D

Put all the ingredients in the Nutribullet, add cold water up to the fill line and blend for 20-30 seconds, until completely smooth.

Pour into a glass and drink as soon as possible.
