What do you do with your empty candle jars?

We’ve been growing hyacinths in ours and love how they look.

Some top tips for your candle jars;

The bulb should be slightly smaller than the diameter of the jar and there should be enough room below the bulb for the roots to grow. You don’t even need soil – to force them open in a bit of shallow water, just add enough to cover the bottom of the bulb without submersing it.

You could try paper whites or anemones, too. Simple and so pretty, give it a try!
