What to Pack by Tona Stell

Stylist and Fashion Director at SUITCASE magazine, Tona Stell knows a thing or two about packing.

Having travelled to more than 20 countries through her work, she crosses the globe at least five times a year to shoot fashion editorials with her team for the wanderlust loving magazine.

Whether she's packing for Tokyo, Iceland, India or (most recently) a trip to Kenya, Tona has become a capsule suitcase queen. With a keen fashion eye, she's constantly inspired by the new countries and cultures she's immersed in.

We caught her in between trips to find out what she'll be taking away this summer...

I travel...

Around 15 times a year for work and as many times as possible in my spare time!

My summer holidays...

This year are to Cartagena and Budapest.

Swimsuit or bikini?

Bikini... for an even tan!

I never travel without...

Headphones, trainers and Eyeko Mascara.

On the beach, I’ll be reading...

A thriller or crime novel.

I'll be listening to...

Most probably Rihanna

Summer beauty essentials...

Susanne Kaufmann SPF, Oribe Gold Lust Hair Oil, Sunday Riley Tinted Primer and By Terry Baume de Rose.

Cocktail night must-have accessory...

The dainty Multi Orb Necklace is the perfect accessory for any holiday evening ensemble. It’s light, delicate and best kept simple with a subtle lip and touch of highlighter.

My genius packing tip...

Pre plan outfits, especially if it’s a weekend trip and you only have hand luggage. Roll your clothes instead of fold & most importantly pack a travel clothes steamer! You’ll never iron again.
